Papers [manuscript]. 1959-1966.

Papers and notes, formerly filed together in a ring binder, which were brought together whilst Cleland was a staff member at the National Library in the late 1950s to mid 1960s. The collection includes: * Lecture notes and background articles used in a management course presented in 1966 on behalf of the Australian Institute of Management. * An annotated copy of the "Supervisor's guide to the process chart", a work simplification program devised in the United States, and published by the U.S. Government Printing Office in 1959. * Public Service Board circulars and National Library memoranda relating to the review of classification structure for librarians and library officers, 1965, together with recruitment notices for new Library staff. * Notes on the National Library's manuscript collections, including question of access and the AJCP Project. * Newspaper clippings, some of which document aspects of the National Library's collecting interests.
